With a family background of winemaking spanning 5 generations, we are intricately connected to the vineyards of the Hunter Valley. We endeavoured to create a gin that not only celebrates Shiraz, but has the structure of Shiraz too.
Each year we will create a limited edition drop, with no restocks until the next vintage.

Vineyard:
Field of Mars Block 1 – Australia’s Top 50 Vineyards (Young Gun of Wine)
Family managed Field of Mars Vineyard on Hermitage Road was planted in 1968 on the ancient floodplains of Rothbury Creek on dark cracking clay.

Vintage:
A gentle, dry Spring, followed by a couple of scorching days over the holiday season, then steady warmth right through. The grapes came in beautifully – smaller harvest, but packed with flavour and brightness. Quality over quantity; exactly what we want for our limited edition gins.

Tasting Notes:⁠

With aromatic notes of cherry, raspberry and violet, this gin embodies the spirit of the Hunter Valley and reflects the rich, dark soils of our plateau. This remarkably velvety gin continues with a deliciously savoury texture bursting with red plum, briar-blackberry and mulberry, while bright white pepper and vivid floral aromatics of red-briar rose and violet weave throughout the palate. This gin is not to be missed.⁠

Enjoy as we do; poured over a big block of ice and garnished with a twist of orange peel – or in your favourite Sour, Negroni or Martini recipe.⁠
