If something is wrong with your order, here is exactly what we’ll do and what we need from you.
Your rights
Our spirits come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe your bottle has a major problem, you are entitled to: a replacement or a full refund.
What we’ll always fix
- A bottle that arrives broken, leaking or with a damaged seal
- The wrong spirit, or the wrong number of bottles
- A spirit that is faulty or not what we described
You don’t need the original box. You do need your order number, which is in your confirmation email, so we can track and trace its history from us to you.
How to tell us
Email info@fardistilling.com.au with your order number, a line on what’s wrong and a photo. We are usually able to reply within two business days (public holidays not included). Refunds go to the payment method you used, within five business days of us agreeing to a refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
Change of mind
Picked the Shiraz Gin when you meant the Semillon Slammer? If the bottle is unopened, tell us within 14 days of delivery. Send it back sealed and undamaged at your cost, or drop it in to the cellar door, and we refund the bottle price once it is back with us. Shipping isn’t refunded, and a bottle from a multi-buy is refunded at the price you actually paid after the discount. Opened bottles can’t come back under change of mind, for the obvious reason.
Limits that come with selling alcohol
- Orders are for adults only. If we believe an order was placed by or for someone under 18, we cancel it and refund it in full.
- We can’t refund or replace a bottle for damage caused after delivery, such as a gin left on a hot windowsill. That is not a faulty gin.
- Returns are accepted from the adult who placed the order, or another adult.
